Not all natural disasters cause the same damage. So, we use our years of experience to create tailored emergency relief plans to help people regardless of the disaster they are struggling with. We train our staff and volunteers to efficiently and effectively deliver disaster recovery efforts that provide both immediate and long-term relief for affected Hispanic communities. In all, our tailored emergency relief plans have assisted over 100,000 Hispanics in various countries.
When a natural disaster strikes you can trust The Cantaso Foundation to reach disaster sites on time with relief materials that saves lives.
Through our quick emergency relief program, we work with partner agencies, local organizations, and other non-profits to provide food assistance, clean water, personal hygiene products, warm clothes, medical supplies, and shelter to disaster victims. We also provide emotional support to survivors that need it.
Since 2002, we have served more than 1,000,000 disaster victims with food, drinks, hygiene products, and medical supplies. We have over 500 staff and volunteers that have provided more than 100,000 hours of service.
Natural disasters usually take a serious toll on the mental and emotional health of survivors. Many of them experience trauma, grief, fear, anxiety, panic, and sometimes sleeping difficulties. The Cantaso Foundation provides emotional care and support to help survivors feel better during the chaos caused by the disaster. Giving hugs, words of encouragement, offering a shoulder to cry on, giving children stuffed toys, or simply holding hands; are some of the ways we support disaster survivors emotionally and show that we truly care about them.
The Cantaso Foundation is committed to providing aid and assistance programs to all vulnerable Hispanics without discrimination regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, disability, or any other expressions or attributes. As long as a person is within our service locations, we will strive to help them to our full capacity.
